Long Bio
Raised in Athens, Ohio, Devon Halliday is a songwriter, guitarist, singer, and occasional performer. Her style ranges from acoustic folk to garage indie pop. She recorded her first three albums in her basement with a single USB mic, which lends her sound a certain lo-fi charm. Devon’s hallmark is lyrically complex, instrumentally simple songs with hooks that will haunt you for a couple days.
She released her first EP in 2019, titled Since You Left Me, I’ve Gone Vegan. She followed it up with Invincibly Adequate in 2020 and Jetsam in 2021. Her latest solo release is Your Honor, and she put out a demo album in 2023 with the band Mudlark.
