Devon Halliday is a fiction writer based in Brooklyn. Her stories have appeared in Ploughshares, One Story, West Branch, and the Pushcart Prize Anthology, among other journals, and have been distinguished in Best American Short Stories. Her criticism appears in Liberties, the Los Angeles Review of Books, and CRAFT.
Devon holds an MFA in Fiction from the Warren Wilson Program for Writers, where she received a Rona Jaffe Foundation scholarship, and a BA in Comparative Literature from Brown University. She grew up in southeastern Ohio, and teaches creative writing as an adjunct at Ohio University.
Her debut novel To Stay, To Stay, To Stay is forthcoming from McSweeney’s in October.
